The Standards Panel is convened to consider investigations into potential breaches of the Waverley Code of Conduct for Councillors, or similar codes for Town and Parish councillors. It determines the outcome of these investigations. The Panel's membership is drawn from the Standards Committee, with parish council representatives added when a complaint concerns a Town or Parish councillor.
