Purpose

To appoint a consultant via
Odgers recruitment agency to act as a Consultant Joint Senior HR
& OD Advisor for 6 months for both Waverley Borough Council and
Guildford Borough Council, acting outside of IR35, with the
contract costs to be split equally between the two
Councils.

Subject to
a waiver being granted, the Joint Strategic Director for Legal
& Democratic Services decides to enter into a contract between
Waverley Borough Council, Guildford Borough Council and a
recruitment agency, Odgers, for the services of an interim
consultant Joint Senior HR & OD Advisor, for a 6 month period,
at a cost of £129,350, with 50% of the contract costs being
payable by Guildford Borough Council and 50% by Waverley Borough
Council, to provide a joint service of consultancy to both WBC and
GBC.
