Having considered the comments
of the Landlord Services Advisory Board (Executive Working Group),
the Executive Co-Portfolio Holder for Housing (Operations) and
Services, Councillor Paul Rivers,
 
RESOLVED to,
 

Recommendation
 

1.    
Commence the procurement for kitchen and bathroom replacements
with the assistance of GBC Procurement.
 

2.    
The recommended route to market of a mini
competition run through the LHC Framework (Refurbishment &
Modernisation Framework (RM3) and in accordance with the relevant
procurement legislation.
 

3.    
The involvement and engagement of the Tenant Panel
as part of the procurement process.
 
Reason(s) for Recommendation:
 

1.    
The current contract with the incumbent contractor
is due to expire in March 2026, but due to an uplift in kitchen and
bathroom installation works required we are seeking enhanced
supplier capability.
 

2.    
A mini competition run through the LHC Framework -
Refurbishment & Modernisation Framework (RM3) will deliver
value for money to the Council.
