To consider the objection to making of a Tree
Preservation Order (TPO) 20/24 and to determine whether the Order
should be confirmed, with or without modification. One letter of
objection has been received to the TPO during the consultation
period and therefore, in accordance with the constitution, the
decision is referred to the Planning Committee.    
 
The current Order (TPO 20/24) has been made
following review of a previous Order affecting the same land and
trees (TPO 06/24) which was not confirmed. The new Order contains
Individual and small Group classification. Further information
received has confirmed that tree T2 (beech) should not be included
in the Order.
 
Decision
 
Tree Preservation Order No. 20/24 applying to
trees on land east of Midhurst Road, north of Five Gate Cottage,
Haslemere is CONFIRMED with modification.
