Business Case update for approval

The Executive resolved to:
 
(i)           
Approve the revised Outline Business Case for the Weydown Road
Community Hub development
project, as outlined at Exempt Appendix 1. Specifically, it
approves the progression of work to deliver a facility
accommodating the Youth Hub only (Option A in the business
case).
 
(ii)        Approve the
repurposing of the supplementary budget of £223,298 approved
at Executive in April 2024 to enable the progression of Option A,
to include the submission of a planning application.
 
(iii)       Delegate to the
Strategic Director of Economy, Planning and Place authority to
enter into a contract for the carrying out of the design work
required in relation to progressing Option A,  along with such other contracts and legal
agreements connected with the Weydown Road Community Hub project as
may be necessary, in compliance with Procurement Procedure Rules,
the Council’s Constitution and within the approved
budget.
