The Executive resolved to:
 
(i)           
Subject to Full Council approval of the capital spend, bring
grounds maintenance services in-house from 1st November 2025.
 
(ii)          
Subject to Full Council approval of the capital spend, approve a
supplementary estimate of £31,246 to cover the additional
revenue costs in Year 1, to be funded from the MTFP Risk
Reserve.
 
The Executive
resolved to recommend that Council
 
(iii)         
Agree a one-off capital allocation of £1,000,000 for the
purchase of vehicles and equipment required to provide in-house
grounds maintenance services, to be funded from existing capital
receipts.
 
(iv)         
Delegate to the Strategic Director of Housing, Communities and
Environment in consultation with the Strategic Director for Finance
and Resources, authority to procure and award a contract to
purchase vehicles and equipment required to provide grounds
maintenance services within the capital allocation.
