The Executive resolved to approve:
 
(i)           
Subject to Full Council approval of the budget, the Outline
Business Case, provided at Exempt Appendix 1 of this report,
setting out the preferred option for the delivery of the Cranleigh
skate park project.
 
The Executive resolved to recommend to
Council to approve:
 
(ii)          
A budget of £647,125 for the purposes of progressing
Cranleigh skate park Option 1.
 
(iii)         
To delegate authority to the Joint Assistant Director of Assets and
Property, in consultation with the Joint Strategic Director of
Finance (S151) to complete all necessary contracts to purchase the
land.
 
(iv)         
To delegate to the Strategic Director of Economy, Planning and
Place, in consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Planning and
Economic Development, authority to procure, award and enter into
the main construction works contract and all other legal agreements
connected with the Cranleigh Skate Park project as may be necessary
in compliance with Contract Procedure Rules, the Council’s
Constitution and within the approved budget.
