To hire vehicles to support the the provision
of grounds maintenance services in the borough

Alternative options considered

Not providing vehicles - The council would not
be able to deliver grounds maintenance services

Purchase of vehicles - Due to the short timescales for the the
start of the new grounds maintenance service, the purchasing of
vehicles would not have been able to have been completed in
time
