To enter in to a contract with IKEN for
provision of additional consultancy days to enable the migration of
the legal desktop case management system to cloud based case
management system.

Reasons for the decision

To provide a resilient case management system
to enable an efficient and effective legal service and support the
delegation of the function of legal services from Guildford Borough
Council. The decision has been taken in consideration of LGR.

Alternative options considered

Alternative case management systems have been
considered but these would not be aligned with other authorities
when considering LGR.
The decision supports the Shared Legal Service with Guildford
Borough Council providing efficiency and a single system.
