To award contract to Pennigton Choices Limited to provide Asbestos Surveys to various properties within the Council

Reasons for the decision

To provide Refurbishment and Demolition and Management Asbestos Surveys to various properties within the Council to ensure the Council is compliant, keeping contractors and tenants free from risk arising from asbestos hazards.
Due to limited contractor resources and the start of new financial year, there has been a much higher demand of R&D surveys and management surveys. Therefore, we need to seek additional resources to complete all works while transitioning from the old contractor whose contract ends on 31st August to the new contractor.
