Decision

To approve the commissioning of Korn Ferry Limited to deliver job evaluation training for up to 12 officers at Waverley Borough Council.
The training will:
•Be delivered virtually over two days
•Provide accreditation in the Korn Ferry Hay job evaluation methodology
•Support ongoing maintenance of the Council’s job evaluation framework
The total cost of the training is £17,760 (excluding VAT) including administrative fees

Reasons for the decision

•To ensure the Council maintains internal capability to apply the Korn Ferry Hay Job Evaluation methodology effectively
•To support consistent and robust job evaluation processes across the organisation
•To reduce reliance on external consultancy for routine JE activity

Alternative options considered

•Do nothing – rejected as this would risk loss of internal JE capability and consistency
•Use external providers for evaluations only – rejected due to higher long-term costs and reduced internal knowledge
