Extension of contract with Bracknell Forest for 1 year as we have not identified another provider who can deliver the same out of hours service.

Reasons for the decision

The contract with Bracknell Forest expired on 30 September 2026. The provision of an out of hours call handling service is essential to meet our responsibilities for Emergency Planning.
The extension of the contract for one year will give us time after LGR to consider the on going position.

Alternative options considered

Not having a contract in place - unacceptable situation.
