Summary of Requirement: In line with the WBC’s duty of care, I have carried out Tree Safety inspections for Farnham Park West. This consists of 3 areas: 00P0 West, 00P3 Amenity and 00P5 Golf Course. I asked 3 contractors to quote for the works.
I expect the costings will be around £10,000 for all works within ‘West’. This project is essential given the condition of a number of the trees and their proximity to higher use areas within Farnham Park.

Reasons for the decision

Tree safety is of paramount importance to Waverley Borough Council. In order to demonstate that WBC is commited to the safety of it's site users, the works needed to be carreid out but the total value came to £10,000 placing it in threshold 3.
