Decision

To award the reroofing contract in order to fully replace the tiled roof at Broadwater Park Rangers Office which is in need of replacement due to its age and condition.

Reasons for the decision

A recent structural survey identified that the tiles are at the end of their life and in need of replacement. Some areas of timber were also found to be in poor condition (rotting) also in need of replacement. This work is necessary to prevent water ingress and further widespread damage to the building which would in turn incur greater repair costs.
