Purpose

A report requesting approval for the funding to deliver the Solar Car Ports at Vicarage Lane Car Park.

Decision

RESOLVED:

a)    To approve the delivery of the Vicarage Lane Solar Car Port Scheme using the phased approach outlined in this report.

b)    Approve the total capital funding allocation of the sum identified in the exempt report from the Council’s Capital Investment Reserve.

c)     To delegate authority to the Director of Governance & Corporate Services, in consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Public Health and Asset Management, to approve the award of the construction contract to the preferred contractor at the appropriate time, subject to satisfactory procurement, legal and contractual due diligence.

d)    Delegate authority to the Director of Governance & Corporate Services to negotiate, agree, finalise, approve and enter into all other legal agreements required to complete the project.
