Purpose

That the Council complete the
purchase of Gatehouse for a sum of £14,750,000
(£14,749,999 freehold, £1 leasehold)
That the sum paid to the vendor is
£14,561,640.06 due to amendments made in relation to rent
apportionment, rent deposits, sinking fund and service charge.
That the Council pays a contribution
of £10,000 to the seller’s disposal costs.
That the Council pay agents fees of
£100,000 to Colliers for the role in negotiating the
purchase.
That the Council pay SDLT associated
with the purchase of £727,000.
That the Council appoints the
existing management agents TSP to manage the property until
31st December 2025 at a cost of £28,000.
