About
The Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment Sub-Committee is a delegated body of the West Berkshire Health and Wellbeing Board, established to respond to changes in local pharmaceutical services. It assesses the need for pharmacies and considers notifications about changes to existing services. The sub-committee consults with the Local Pharmaceutical Committee and local councillors when potential gaps in provision are identified, to understand the impact on the community. All decisions are reported back to the Health and Wellbeing Board and published by the Berkshire West Shared Public Health Team.
