Purpose

This report seeks approval for a refreshed Social Value Policy and Framework, aligning with the Procurement Act 2023. It strengthens how the Council delivers wider economic, social and environmental benefits through spending, assets and partnerships, supported by clearer governance, monitoring and a new public-facing Social Value Statement tailored to local needs.
