Regulatory Committee

The Regulatory Committee is responsible for a range of licensing and environmental protection functions for West Lindsey. It exercises the Council's licensing powers, excluding those under the Licensing Act 2003 and Gambling Act 2005. The committee also oversees food premises and the Food Law Enforcement Plan, and enforces regulations under the Environmental Protection Act.

Additionally, it recommends policies for taxi and private hire services and grants Public Space Protection Orders. The committee's full remit is detailed in Part 4 of the Council's Constitution.
