Pensions Fund Committee

The Pension Committee is responsible for the Council’s statutory function as administering authority under the Local Government Pension Scheme Regulations and associated legislation under Sections 7, 12 and 24 of the Superannuation Act 1972. The Committee has been established under Section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972. The Pension Committee has full delegated powers to discharge the necessary functions on behalf of the Council to deal with all matters relating to the Northamptonshire Local Government Pension Scheme.
