Performance and Audit Scrutiny Committee

The Performance and Audit Scrutiny Committee monitors and scrutinises the performance of the Council’s services by having regard to a variety of information, including performance indicators; financial information; reports from external inspections; audit reports; and the monitoring of action plans.   The Committee is made up of 10 members and two independent members/co-optees.    The co-optees appointments were approved by the Committee on 26 September 2024 and at future meetings will provide an independent perspective and give advice to the Committee based on their knowledge and experience.  The co-optees do not have any voting rights.
