Purpose

The provision of an asset and customer management system is
critical to ensuring the County Council can meet its statutory duty
to maintain the highways at public expense and to be able to
demonstrate that the authority had taken such care as in all the
circumstances is reasonably required to comply with that
duty.
The current contract is due to
end at the end of March 2026 and a new contract is
required.

Decision

The Executive Director of Finance &
Support Services has approved the award of the contract for an
asset and customer management system to Brightly Software
Limited.  The contract will be let for
an initial term of 7 years with possible extension(s) up to a
further 3 years. The new contract will commence in June 2025.
