Purpose
Supported Living services are
care, support and accommodation services purchased by the Council
on behalf of people who have been assessed as having eligible
social care needs. These services support people to live more
independently through the provision of personal care and outreach
support.
The council currently
commissions most of these services from a framework agreement which
went live in August 2021 (Key Decision; Supported
Living Services Procurement AH08 (20/21) refers). The Supported
Living Framework’s initial four
year period will cease on 31 July 2025.
Decision
The Executive Director for Adults and Health
has approved a two (2) year contract extension of the Supported
Living Framework until 31 July 2027 at an estimated total cost of
aproximately£150m, with an option to extend by a further two
(2) months.
