Full council record

Purpose

A new residential development
is under construction on land to the rear of 4 Old Shoreham Road in
Lancing.  Access to the development is
to be via the western end of Old Shoreham Road, near the Manor Way
Roundabout.

The developer has been required
to apply for a Traffic Regulation Order for double yellow lines to
prevent obstruction of this new access, with further double yellow
lines at the junction of Old Shoreham Road with Manor Way to
prevent displaced parking from obstructing the
junction.

Decision

The Cabinet Member for Highways and
Transport, having considered the objections to the proposals,
authorises the Executive Director of Law, Assurance and Insight to
make the Traffic Regulation Order as advertised and for the
restrictions (as set out in section 2 of the report) to be
implemented.
