Decision

The Assistant Director (Highways, Transport
and Planning) authorises the Executive Director of Law, Assurance
and Insight to make an application for a stopping up order under
the provisions of Section 116 Highways Act 1980 for a plot of land
adjoining 6 The Poplars, Horsham.
No objections have been received to the informal consultation on a
proposal to remove the highway status. The next stage is for an
application to be made for a formal hearing at the Magistrates
Court, by a firm of solicitors acting as an agent for the County
Council in this respect.
This proposed non-key decision by an officer will come into effect
on the date of decision shown below unless a request is received
from the local councillor(s) prior to that date, via the contact
officer shown in the report, for the decision to be made by the
Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport.
