Purpose
West Sussex County Council (WSCC), through its
Refugee Resettlement and Migration Service (RRMS), supports
eligible individuals and families under various UK Government
Resettlement or Humanitarian Protection Schemes, including Homes
for Ukraine and the Afghan Resettlement Programme (ARP).
The County Council is responsible for
delivering a range of support and facilitating access to services
including assisting with securing permanent settled accommodation
across the UK. Contingency accommodation can be needed whilst
seeking longer term solutions or to manage any delays in moves to
permanent settled accommodation. All elements of the support
provision and contingency accommodation requirements are fully
funded by Government as set out in the individual scheme funding
instructions.
