Purpose

The West Sussex County Council Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS)
for learning and development service training providers, was
implemented in April 2017 following a key decision in September
2016.
The 10-year term for the DPS,
expires at the end of March 2027 and so a procurement is required
for two new open frameworks, one for Learning and Development
activity and the second for Apprenticeship activity.

Decision

The Cabinet
Member for Support Services and Local Government Reorganisation has
approved:

1)  
The replacement of the current L&D DPS with an Open Framework
for procurement of L&D provision and an Open Framework for
procurement of Apprenticeships Training, each lasting up to 8
years.
2)  
That authority is delegated to the Executive Director of HR OD and
Communications to agree the replacement of the Dynamic Purchasing
System with the two new Open Frameworks and the awarding of the new
Open Frameworks contracts.
