March 7, 2024 Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport (Cllr Joy Dennis) (Cabinet member) Approved View on council websiteFull council record
Purpose
Gatwick Free school is sited in
a converted office building in Manor Royal in Crawley. As part of
the change of use planning permission there was an obligation to
review the parking and waiting restrictions in proximity to the
school. In addition to the School Keep Clear marking at the main
entrance on Tinsley Lane North, further waiting restrictions were
proposed in Wheatstone Close. During the statutory consultation on
the installation of these restrictions 14 objections were
received.
Decision
Having considered the objections received, the
Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport authorises the Director
of Law and Assurance to make the Traffic Regulation Order for the
proposed restrictions as set out in section 2, with the
modification detailed in section 4.5 of this report.
