Purpose

The County Council utilises
fuel cards across the fleet to simplify the purchase and payment of
fuel from commercial sites. The cards are administered centrally by
the Fleet Service in West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service on behalf
of other Council service areas. The current contract for fuel cards
expires on 22 March 2024 and a new contract is
required. 
 
Following the procurement
process, carried out in line with the council’s Standing
Orders on Procurement and Contracts, the Chief Fire Officer will
 award the contract to the successful
supplier.

Solutions Limited for the provision of fuel and EV
charge cards for an initial term of two years, 23 March 2024
– 22 March 2026, with the option to extend the contracts for
2 periods of 12 months, taking the contract expiry (if both
extensions are taken) to 22 March 2028.
