Purpose

A new youth centre is being
built on land south of Eldon Way in Littlehampton. Littlehampton
Town Council has applied for new waiting restrictions and, to
ensure safe access, a Road Safety Audit requested waiting
restrictions on Eldon Way.  During the
statutory consultation on the installation of these restrictions,
six objections were received.
 

Decision

Having considered the objections received, the
Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport has authorised the
Director of Law and Assurance to make the Traffic Regulation Order
as advertised, and subsequently amended, with the proposed
restrictions set out in section 2 of the report and the
modification described in section 4.5 and shown in Appendix C, to
be implemented.
