Purpose

The on-street parking charges
review for 2023/24 will review all on-street parking charges in
West Sussex, including all parking permits, parking bay suspensions
and pay & display areas.
 
The Cabinet Member for Highways
and Transport will be asked to implement any changes from October
2023.

Decision

The Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport
has:
 

Approved the changes to on-street
charges, as set out in Appendix B (Option 2 – Traffic
Management), for reasons of consistency, demand management and to
cover operational running costs; and

 

Authorised the Director of Law and
Assurance to take all necessary action to bring the proposed
changes to on-street charges, as set out in Appendix B, into effect
from Monday 2 October 2023.
