Purpose

West Sussex County Council
(WSCC) Public Health have a statutory duty to provide the Healthy
Child Programme for residents. The current contract was awarded in
March 2017 following a procurement process that was compliant with
the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. The current contract expires
on 31st March 2024.
 
This decision was originally
listed in the Forward Plan as a re-procurement intention but
following consideration and to allow additional time for a
successful competitive procurement this has been amended to a
contract variation to extend.  The Director of Public Health
is requested to take this decision to approve the preferred option
of a variation of contract to extend for a further 12 months from
31 March 2024 to 31 March 2025.

The  Director of
Public Health has approved that the current contract for the
Healthy Child Programme is varied and extended from 31st
March 2024 to 31st March 2025.
