Purpose

The County Council is required
to prepare a Minerals and Waste Development Scheme, which sets out
how the County Council will prepare the minerals and waste local
plans and other policy documents over a rolling three-year
period.  The current Scheme covers the
period 2022-2025 and needs to be updated; the decision report will
consider the revised Scheme for the period 2023-2026.
 
The Cabinet Member for
Environment and Climate Change will be asked to approve the West
Sussex Minerals and Waste Development Scheme 2023-2026. 
 

Decision

The Cabinet Member for Environment and Climate
Change has approved the West Sussex Minerals and Waste Development
Scheme 2023-2026 (attached as Appendix A).
