The current contract for the provision of the Street Sweepings Reception, Recycling, Treatment and Disposal Service commenced 1 Oct 2022. The contract was valued at £1.1m and written for an initial period of 4 years, with the option to extend for a further 2 years. The Service Director (Environment and Public Protection) has approved the option of a two year contract extension from 1 Oct 2026 to 30 Sep 2028.
