Purpose

Outside bodies are external organisations, including formal or informal partnerships to which the County Council is a party, which have requested that the County Council appoint an Elected Member or a representative to them or to which the Council expects to make appointments.

Decision

That the Leader makes the following Outside Body Appointments until the next County Council election, with a maximum term of 4 years:

1)   Appoints Cllr Jay Mercer to the County Councils Network.

2)   Appoints Cllr Jay Mercer and Cllr Caroline Ward to the West Sussex Economic Growth Board.

3)   Appoints Cllr Richard Bates, Cllr Jane Davey, Cllr Jay Mercer and Cllr Sam Raby to the Local Government Association.

4)   Appoints Cllr Yvonne Gravely to the Sussex Police and Crime Panel.

5)   Appoints Cllr Tracie Bangert as a substitute to the Sussex Police and Crime Panel.
