Purpose
A new Controlled Parking Zone Policy and programme was approved by the Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport in January 2022.
The Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) programme includes Crawley (Three Bridges and Pound Hill). Proposals for numerous roads adjacent/in close proximity to the existing CPZ were subject to a public engagement exercise in 2024. A further informal consultation was subsequently approved and conducted in 2026 in the area proposed as Zone H, located in Pound Hill.
This report sets out the outcome of that exercise.
Decision
That the Service Director (Highways, Transport and Planning), in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport, authorises that: efforts to engage with the residents to bring forward the implementation of a Controlled Parking Zone in proposed Zone H are ceased.
