Decision

Growth Deals are bespoke partnership agreements, developed collaboratively with each District and Borough Council, and designed to reflect the unique economic priorities of their respective areas.

The Horsham Growth Deal was coming to the end of its initial term. A refresh of the deal provides the opportunity to take account of evolving local needs, including housing delivery, infrastructure investment, and skills development, to support sustainable and inclusive growth. The refreshed deal will also reflect emerging opportunities linked to Local Government Reorganisation, and future devolution arrangements.

The Executive Director of Communities, in consultation with the Executive Director of Law, Assurance and Insight, has approved the refreshed Growth Deal with Horsham District Council for the period 2025 to 2030 as set out at Appendix A. The refreshed Deal reflects work initiated in 2025 and confirms the current agreed position at the time of this decision.
