Purpose
As part of key decision
SSED01(24/25), the Cabinet Member for Support Services and
Economic Development agreed to allocate additional funding to
support the implementation of Oracle Fusion to replace the current
system.
It also approved the commencement of
a series of procurements to secure external services from the
market to support the delivery of the programme, delegating
authority to the Director of Finance and Support Services and the
Director of Human Resources and Organisational Development to award
contracts.
The first of these procurements is
to identify and select a partner with the required experience and
capability to deliver business change and technical implementation
services for the new system. This
appointment would fulfil both the Business Implementer and Systems
Integrator roles referred to in SSED01(24/25).
Decision
The Director of Human Resources and
Organisational Development in consultation with the Interim
Director of Finance and Support Services has approved the award of
contract to Infosys Limited with an initial contract term of 07
October 2024 – 06 October 2026 with the option to extend by a
period of up to 12 months if required.
The total contract award value is £5.857m (which includes an
allowance for risk-adjusted charges of £0.349m).
