To approve the provision of revenue support funding to be paid to Arriva Yorkshire Bus Company to ensure bus network continuity during 2026 to prevent network reductions and ensure the March 2024 baseline network is maintained.
This is a Mayoral Function Key Decision and has been delegated from the Mayor to the Chief Executive for the purposes of allowing officers to execute the funding agreement without the need for further political oversight. The Mayor gave written approval to allow the delegation to occur.
The decision was taken following Franchising and Transport Board (an officer decision making board of the Combined Authority) on 06 July 2026.
