RESOLVED: – That the Governance and Audit Committee:
- Reviewed and commented on the proposed Integrated Assurance Framework attached at Appendix 1.
- Noted the proposed governance arrangements, including the establishment of an Integrated Assurance Working Group to support delivery and ongoing development of the Framework.
- Supported the continued development of an Integrated Assurance Dashboard and organisational Assurance Map.
- Noted that the Framework will continue to mature during 2026/27 as assurance arrangements, reporting mechanisms and management information are further developed.
- Endorsed the principles and direction of travel set out within the Integrated Assurance Framework as a key component of the Combined Authority's governance and assurance arrangements.
