Purpose

To approve a 24 month extension
to the ‘Early Education and Childcare Flexible
Framework’ from 1 September 2025. The extension is provided
for in the Contract.

Content

Approve the request to modify
the ‘Open Framework Agreement for the provision of Early
Education and Childcare’ to utilise the Extension Period
provided for in the contract through a contract variation from 1
September 2025.
 
The approved indicative value
for the 24 month extension is £43.692m (£21.846 per
annum). All funding for this framework is part of the Dedicated
Schools Grant (DSG) and is allocated for this specific purpose.
There is no additional funding required
