Purpose

This ODR seek authorisation from the Decision Makers
to award the contract for Window Replacement Works at Sedbergh Primary School, Sedbergh.
This project is driven by the
need to maintain our educational assets and provide a wind,
watertight and safe internal environment to facilitate
children’s education and to improve thermal efficiency of the
building and therefore contribute to reductions in C02 emissions to
the Councils climate objectives.

Content

To award the contract for Window Replacement Works
at Sedbergh Primary School,
Sedbergh to Krol Corlett Construction Limited, Morgan
Brightside Building Bradman Road, Knowsley Industrial Park, Knowsley, Merseyside, L33 7UR, for the sum
of £195,175.98.

Additional project fees include 7.08%
(£13,818.46) for Align Property Partners (APP) as the
principal designer, 3% (£5,855.28) internal project
management cost and 15% (£29,276.40) contingency sum used to
manage any unforeseen changes in scope uncovered during the works,
bringing the total project cost to £244,126.12 +VAT.
