Honorary Aldermen Nominations Committee

The Honorary Aldermen Nominations Committee is responsible for considering the appointment of former councillors as Honorary Aldermen. It reviews and recommends criteria for these appointments to the full Council. The committee also identifies individuals who meet the agreed criteria and makes recommendations for their appointment. It further agrees the process for the Council's final approval of any proposed Honorary Aldermen.
