Purpose

The purpose of
the report is to request that the Director – Place approves a
Variation to the franchise agreement between Wigan Council (the
Council) and the Hilton Hotel Group (Hilton).

Decision

 The Director – Place
authorises:-
 

(1)    
the amendment of the Franchise
Agreement on the terms described in the report and in substantially
the form attached to this report; and

(2)    
the Assistant Director –
Legal, Governance and Elections (Monitoring Officer) to enter into
all agreements necessary, on behalf of the Council to facilitate
(1).
