Purpose

The report notes
the acquisition of two properties and proposes to carry out repairs
funded through the Homes England Programme to make them available
for single homeless individuals.

Decision

 The Portfolio Holder – Housing and
Welfare:
 

(1)    
notes the agreement to acquire the
two properties identified in the report for the use of Single
Homelessness Accommodation Programme for which approval was granted
by the Assistant Director Property and Assets on 8th January
2025.

(2)    
approves the total scheme budget,
including the grant implications, as set out in the report;
and

(3)    
delegates authority to the
Assistant Director-Legal, Governance and Elections to enter into
all agreements necessary on behalf of the Council to facilitate the
above.
