Purpose

Waste services
are seeking a decision to appoint a four-wheeled metal euro bin
supplier. The contract is expected to start in March 2025, and will
be for one year with an option to extend for a further period of
one year.

The contract will involve the continuous supply of four
wheeled bins to enable Wigan Council to respond to requests for new
or replacement bins from developers and residents.

The supplier will be responsible for production and delivery
of residual, paper and comingled 1100L four wheeled bins. This will
enable a waste and recycling service to be provided to properties
that share communal bins.

Decision

The Assistant Director of Environment and
Housing Operations authorises the award of the Supply of Four
Wheeled Metal Euro Bins contract to Storm Environmental
Ltd.
