Purpose

This is an
application for exemption from contract procedure rules for the
named supplier within the report who supply fuel from YPO's 'Liquid
Fuels and Associated Services' Framework Agreement

Fuel supplies are critical to the Council in delivering front
line operational services and YPO frameworks are utilised to ensure
the Council does not suffer from a lack of fuel
supply.
 

Decision

The Portfolio Holder for Planning, Environmental
Services and Transport authorises:- 

(1)        
the award of a 1-year Call-off
contract for the supply of liquid fuels under YPO's Framework
Agreement for Liquid Fuels and Associated Products to the supplier
identified in the report; and

(2)        
the Assistant Director –
Legal, Governance and Elections to enter into any agreements
necessary to facilitate (1) on behalf of the Council.
