Purpose

The Housing Revenue Account Business Plan sets out the purpose
and objectives that Wigan Council will adopt in managing and
maintaining its housing stock. It will set out the priorities,
plans and actions for council housing.

This report outlines the current position in relation to developing
the longer-term forecast for the HRA Business Plan looking forward
over the next 5-10 years. The review underpinning the development
reflects the Council’s ambitions to be an excellent landlord
informed by an ongoing dialogue with tenants and residents to
identify investment and service priorities that will improve the
quality of homes and tenant services provided.
