Purpose

The report seeks approval from Cabinet for the award of the
contract to Carona to supply Wigan Council with natural gas and
associated services for a period of 4 years (with an optional 2 + 2
years). The contract will be accessed through a compliant
procurement framework, managed by Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation
(YPO).

The financial provision for the expenditure on this item is
contained within the revenue budgets.
