Purpose

The report sets out cost updates and contract modifications
relating to the demolition of the blocks at Logwood Place, Newtown
and the Pre-Construction Services Agreement with the
contractor.

Decision

The Director – Place:-

(1) 
notes the progress made in
delivering the project and the revised programme as indicated in
the report;

(2) 
approves the modification to the
demolition contract and associated costs;

(3) 
approves the variation to the
Pre-construction Services Contract and associated costs;
and

(4) 
authorises the Assistant Director
– Legal, Governance & Elections to enter into any
documentation on behalf of the Council, that may be necessary to
give effect to the above.
